- EdiPax generates a scan program in interaction with an RFID tag (to scan an RFID tag).
- An RFID tag contains identifying information.

Station of control and verification:

- To check if the boxes are specific to Delhaize or not.
- If the boxes are not for Delhaize then reverse them in Delhaize boxes.
- Total control on all the boxes.
- Check the quality of the crates received.
- If boxes are not accepted it must be turned over.
- To stick RFID label on crates.
- Each box contains a single RFID label which identifies it and contains other informations for example the weight.

Scan the RFID label:

- The event is the scan.
- Two types of scanner are possible.
* Scanner with wire.
* Scanner without wire.
- The process of scan follows a given sequence:
- Scan pallet RFID label (A5)
- Scan crate RFID label (GRAY code)
- Scan code product (EAN 128 / A6)
- Each scanner is identified (ID) so that information is recorded automatically in the scan database.

Description of the program of scan:

Orders Donor side:
1 - Start the scan operation: event scanning.
EdiPax side:
2 - A Web Service receives this information and generates XML format files from the scan.
3 - These XML files will be saved in the database table that matches.
4 - Another program that runs to generate traceability information related to scan.
5 - This information will be sent to the Orders Donor for the statistical picking to have an idea about the percentage of productivity of each picking station.

Confirmation by voice:

Information of scan will be recorded and will be confirmed by a voice server with a loudspeaker connected to it.
- The voice server will confirm the last three RFID digits label scanned.
- The waiter voice is connected to a high speaker embedded in the wall.
- We can also confirm the weight of a pallet or box.
- The use of the voice solution reduces the error rate.
